Upgrading to new PC with new version of Office

Both PCs have XP Pro. I need to copy my Outlook 2003 contacts from my old PC
to my new PC, which has Outlook 2007. Does anyone know how to do this?

Its a Q that is asked every day, at least 3 times on your post date.
Broadly speaking with OL closed on the old PC you copy the outlook data
files *.pst's to a suitable location on your new PC, eg the Documents
Folder.
Then in OL, File>Open>Data File.....browse to this pst and open it.
Copy data from the old to the new as required

Perhaps, then, Microsoft should broaden their help section with more
variables of key phrases to reduce this daily question.

I've started out programming mainframes in Cobol, assembler and Unix way back
when and was one of the first to accept the personal computer. Although I
have been out of the technical end of the field for some years, I use PCs
daily and am considered quite adept among my peers, but I wouldn't know half
of what I know about Microsoft, Windows and Office if it weren't for people
like you and sites like this. And I do THANK you, very much.
I just don't understand why Microsoft has to make things so difficult and
esoteric??????
Thanks again.
