Upgrading problems

I got a new computer with windows XP, I forgot that my
version of excel 2000 was an upgrade and tried to install
it. When it wouldn't install, I realized what had
happened, installed my original version (excel 95). Now
my excel 2000 upgrade disc is corrupted and will not
install. Is there any way to fix this problem?
