If I install Windows Vista over Windows XP Professional, will I lose my
documents and installed programs?

Well, with BETA software there is always a risk, thats why it is important
you back up any vital data before testing pre-released software, especially
in upgrade scenarios.

Thank you so much.
A backup is implied, of course.

Make sure you read the Backup section of the release notes - very important
as I think if you upgrade from XP, it loses a lot of stuff - can't remember
exactly, but the link to the DOC is on www.msblog.org... near the top :oP

Ok. I'll read this as soon as possible.

Well, if you are backing up from XP, it shouldn't be a problem, just don't
do the restoration in Vista.
