upgrading from Outlook express

I have Win XP and it came with Outlook Express. I have Outlook 2000 and
would like to transfer. I have two Identities on Express mine and my wife.
When I went thru the process to upgrade to Outlook I couldn't find where I
could go to switch identities. It seems like all I could do is see my Email
account. I'm sure Outlook has an ability to support two email accounts, but
evidently I can't find any help for multiple identities. Any ideas? thx...

Once you have imported the information for your account, open Outlook
Express and set your wife's identity as the default and activate it.
Then create a new profile in Outlook 2000 (you must be in Corporate or
Workgroup Mode) and use File|Import and Export to import Internet Mail
settings again.
