I am planning to upgrade my Office 2003 Professional to Office 2007 Standard.
But the Standard edition does not include Access. Will I be able to retain
the 2003 Access applicstion on this computer, or will it get wiped when I
install Office 2007 Standard? And can I createa backup disk for the (old)
Access 2003 as a precaution?

Usually when you're installing the new version of Office, you're given an
option whether you should replace the existing version of Office or not.
Simply select No.

The fact that you're presumably going to be purchasing an upgrade version of
Office 2007 may cause issues, but if it does, simply reinstall Access 2003
from the original media.

Thanks Douglas, that helps.
