Hi all,

I made a similar post yesterday, but didn't know if "old" posts get replies.
I will not be returning to win 98, so
I wanted to delete it from my hard drive. I was told I could
remove it from control panel/add,remove programs. It's not in the list. I
also looked in add/remove windows components.
There's no option there for removing 98 either.
Can this be done(safely)?

Thanks again,
George

The way to eliminate the "old Win 98" files would be to perform a clean
install.

Upgrading the existing OS leaves you with no clean way to get rid of old OS
remnants.
