I upgraded windows from 98 to XP. It is working well except for my Norton Anit Virus Software from systematic. It won't work and I can't unistall it. Systematic free help gives a long, long how to maybe remove NAV 2002/2001 but no info how to get NAV2003 removed so I can reinstall it. So if you are upgrading remove your anti virul software before upgrading. Hind sight is 20/20 lol. If anyone knows of a fix I would appreciate it.

You need to uninstall Norton, then reinstall it.
Use the following tool:

How to uninstall Norton AntiVirus by using the Rnav2003.exe removal utility

Remember to perform the "Live Update" several times after you reinstall
your Norton program.

Yeah I did all that or I wouldn't be so desperate to post for help
Here is the important part of the page you suggested copied
"NAV installed under an operating system (OS) that was upgraded without first uninstalling NAV. The Rnav2003.exe utility does not remove a version of NAV if it was installed under an OS that was upgraded without first uninstalling NAV. For example, the Rnav2003.exe utility does not remove NAV if it was installed under Windows 98, and then you upgraded to Windows XP without uninstalling NAV. In a case like this, you must remove NAV manually. For more information on removing NAV manually, see the list of links at the end of this document.
If you go to the bottom there are NO articles on how to remove NAV2003 from XP
But Thanks anywa
