Since you failed to present the major items of memory and hard drive I will
assume you have plenty then there is a limitation on increasing the speed
unless you do a full MB and CPU upgrade. However it should run on what you
have okay for general use.
And what other hardware devices do you have? Normally one you get xp
installed and stay away from flacky hardware and old hardware and stop
messing with it, it will run forever unless you have a virus or trojan run
wild.
