According to this MS Knowledge Base article, the only difference between XP
Pro N and regular XP Pro is that Windows Media Player isn't included in XP
Pro N in order to be in compliance with the European Commission Decision.
So you certainly don't need to do an upgrade or a reinstall. You just need
to add the Windows Media Player. The KB article has a link to download it.
