Upgrade win98-2nd Edition

Upgrading subject computer to XP Pro, I get a message that
tells me the setup cannot continue and gives a message
5A8FF58h. I have not been able to ascertain what this
means or how to fix it. HELP PLEASE !!
 
Hello,

From the i396 folder on the CD, run Winnt32 /checkupgradeonly and view the
results that this check provides.
