Windows XP Professional being replaced with Windows XP Home Edition is a
downgrade - not an upgrade.
You are losing features when you migrate from a Windows Xp Professional
machine to a Windows XP Home machine.
It is one of the reasons that if you wish to move from Windows XP
Professional to Windows XP Home Edition - you must format the system and
start anew.
No. That is a downgrade not an upgrade, as XP Pro has everything
that XP Home has, plus a number of additional items that are only
found in XP Pro.
Why are you wanting to move from "more" to "less"? There may be
some other means of accomplishing your desired end results.
Good luck
