Upgrade to Multiprocessor HAL?

I upgraded my MB to a P4 with HT. Device Manager
recognizes two proc but since my current HAL is
halacpi.dll I can't do multiprocessor. Is there a way to
switch to the halmacpi.dll without reinstalling? I know
this used to be possible in previous NT versions.
