Do a Google for "Easy CD Creator 5 basic" and you'll find
many sources for XP versions of EZCD, such as
http://www.buycheapsoftware.com/details.asp?productID=1055
There will be an update to that but it will work very well
and doesn't cost a bundle.

| You can probably get Easy CD 4.05 working if you have only
it, following
| these steps.
|
| Get the download from
www.roxio.com to bring your version
up to 4.05
|
| Uninstall the present one - all components, especially
Direct CD and
| Take Two. This leaves orphaned entries in the registry -
To tidy up,
| get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
|
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on
it and merge
| it into the registry
|
| Then install your CD, the Easy CD Creator only, *not* the
others, and at
| exit, before rebooting run the upgrade to 4.05 and reboot.
|
| That will probably work: if it doesn't you have to get
biting bullets
