Upgrade from vista to XP

Bill Gayes

I made the mistake to DOWNGRADE from XP to vista. Can I UPGRADE vista back
to XP whitout a clean install?

Well I already already know the answer to my question, I just needed to get
this off my chest. :-(

Oh and BTW MicroSoft, you can take your DRM and such, and shove it up where
the sun don't shine! Vista SUCKS!

I am going to get a refund!!!!

MicroSoft have gone too far!

Unfortunately, you need to wipe the drive and reinstall WinXP. There is no
way to "uninstall" Vista.

A refund on used software?
The words snowball and hell spring to mind.

Yes you're probably right, and MicroSoft are laughing at me. I've been
abused! But I've been known to get a refund where others have given up. :)

Does the fact that everything you're complaining about has out in the open
and discussed for months (not to mention the free public betas and RC1) make
you realize that some before purchase research might have been wise?

Yep be sure to pay with credit card.. than you just report to credit card
company that the product was buggy and has alot of issues. Get your money
back.

Free public beta's.. what a laugh.. Since most haven't really heard about it
until almost launch.. they had no way to try it out.. and M$ took down
preview version for customers to try because they probably realize most
would stick with XP and not purchase it if they experienced it for
themselves.

Bill,

Can you post all the information to a couple of your main problems and let's
see if the group here can help solve them?

I know there are a lot of issues with Vista and DRM but people are finding
solutions and work-arounds.

Many thanks,
