Trying to upgrade from ME to XP and my computer just stops
at "79 minutes". ANy suggestions?

Remove everything but the video, mouse and keyboard. This includes Zip
drive, and USB devices.
If XP completes setup, replace each device one at a time and do not activate
until you complete setting up the hardware.
