upgrade from 2003 to 2007 outlook question

about to upgrade to 2007 office. not worred about the upgrade but worried
about outlook. my pop 3 acct that is setup, i download all emails and do not
keep a copy on the pop server. to make sure i keep all my emails should i
nstalled 07 first then remove 03 or just save my .pst files and then load
them into 07?

Do not attempt an "in place" upgrade.
Uninstall Outlook 2003 completely and backup your Outlook data file.
Install Outlook 2007 and configure your mail account settings from scratch.
Then open your previous Outlook data file in Outlook 2007 and set it as your
default.

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
