Dell Upgrade Outlook 2003 to 2007

I recently installed the upgrades of the Office Basic 2007 with Professional
Trial on my Dell computer. All the 2007 items installed except Outlook.
Outlook has a red "X" telling me it is not available when it is one of the
three components of Office Basic. On disc 2 there is an upgrade for Outlook
07 with Business Contacts and this tells me I need to have 2007 installed
first.

Any suggestions?

Uninstall any prior versions of Outlook and then try running setup again as
a custom installation and make Outlook available.
