Upgrade a broken ME to XP

Jay Brad

My ME operating system crashed on my C: drive (Explorer
not responding, reload windows). Apps & data in tact, and
I can boot into DOS from startup disk. ME reinstall will
destroy my data & Apps...

SO I installed XP onto a clean partiton on my D: drive.
Cool >> Backed up all my data from C: to CD's via XP in
Dual Boot mode... Cool, but is ME stll trashed.

NOW I tried to "Upgrade" C: ME, from my XP windows
session.... BUT it only re-upgraded my XP on D: How can
I get it to Upgrade C:ME so I can get my original Apps
working back on C:(wish it to be) XP ????

Trying to save my apps....
