Upgrade 2000 Professional with XP Home Edition Upgrade?

Neophyte question...anyone know if I can upgrade 2000 Professional
with XP home edition full or upgrade version? Official Microsoft info
seems to indicate I have to use XP professional.

That's correct. You can only upgrade 2000 Professional to XP
Professional, not XP Home.

Hi,
No.You can't upgrade to XP Home from Windows 2000 Professional.But if
you want to upgrade to XP PRO you can easily do that.

You need WinXP Pro, Win2000 cannot upgrade to WinXP Home.
