Updating pages

I've been trying to publish an updated version of several pages on my site with FP 2000. I made several changes in the text on pages and then deleted 2 other pages. When I publish it, the text changes are there but the pages I deleted from the site still show up. I have checked the box saying to overwrite everything. The pages do not show up in FP anywhere but are still there on the web

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

You have to publish using the "Change Page Only" option for pages to be deleted on the remote
server.

That did it. I thought it was just the opposite. Wrong again
