Updating numerous links

PowerPoint 2003

Is there a way to tell a powerpoint file to update all links.
I have a number of excel based charts and when I update the excel file (and
save it) ... it doesn't update the powerpoint file. I tried saving the ppt
file, but still, it doens't update the chart display. If I close the ppt
file then reopen it ... it updates all the links. There's gotta be a way to
update all the charts. There's too many to have to go to each chart to tell
it to update.

Choose edit - links, mark all link and then choose update (or maybe update
now).
