Updating my XPE

Hi All,

As I mentioned in a previous post. We purchase NT 4.0
embedded then updated to XPE. My copy of XPE Target
Design shows a version of 2.00.0620.0.

I tried downloading some of the critical updates and they
say I need a new "platform". I've been looking all over
the XPE site and can't find how to download this and
update it.

Can anyone tell me how to get my XPE up to the latest
release?

You're using the XP-Gold version from 2 years ago, SP1 was released over a
year ago. If you're using the eval version you can download an eval SP1 now
via the microsoft.com/embedded/xp web page. If you purchased yours, then
contact your distributor and they will ship you the CDs for the SP1 version
of the Tools and the Components.

The QFEs you're looking at are probably the ones you can only install on
SP1. Please upgrade your XPe suite to SP1, there were many enhancements and
bug fixes and new components in it.
