Newbie questions: What to downloading for XPe Eval?

Hi guys,

I am looking at the XPe platform, but am a little confused as to what needs
to be downloaded and installed, and in what order.

So far, I have got:

- XP Embedded + SP2 Eval
- .NET 2.0 for XPe
- XP Embedded Feature Pack 2007
- Update Rollup 1.0 (Released 20 May 07)

Is this correct, and in the right order? Are there any other updates I
should get?

Finally, if I then decide that XPe is for me, do I need to uninstall
everything before getting the "full" version, or is there an upgrade path?

I'm also interested in the answer to this. I haven't updated since a Feb 2006
patch since "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" But I'm about to start a
new device so I figure it's best to get it up-to-date. I don't care about
Vista (yet) so I just want to be sure I have the latest XP embedded platform.
I googled around but didn't find a specific step-by-step of how to update from
XP Embedded + SP2. It would sure be nice if there was another release of XP
Embedded where all this was just rolled into one so I could just install from
a CD and be up-to-date; does one exist?

i am not aware of one. i re-installed.

while xp embedded comes w/ sp 2, you will still need to install the
original, then update w/ sp2, then update w/ feature pack 2007.

you can upgrade your image once the steps above have been taken.
