I keep getting an update that sticks at 33%, is anyone else having this
problem and how can I solve this

Pay a visit to Ms Updates website and run the updates and select Custom
instead of Express install and see how many there waiting to be downloaded
and installed! If they are lots then half them, download and install then
then try to install the reset.

Copy the above and save it as updates.bat on your desktop, double click it
and click "Yes" to execute the command to register the update engine.
Reboot your machine and see if you can get the updates and install them.
