ok i installed xp pro with sp1.. i dled all the updates for sp1 then i go to
install sp2 and it says it cant dl it.. what can i do?

when i dl it and it extracts the files the file i386/lsasrv.dl_ is corrupt..
ive tried dlin it mulitple times and stops at the same point every time what
can i do?

Go to the MS Site and read the article about what to do before
installing SP2. SP3 is ready, but lots of people are waiting to see if
there is a hotfix for it; there are some problems with it, so read the
SP3 MS Pages if you plan to use SP3.

Clear out your temporary internet files, run check disk on the hard drive and defrag.

Redownload the update. Also you can burn the update to CD and run it from there to see if
that makes a difference just in case there's a problem on the hard drive that is causing
the corruption.

If that doesn't help -

SP2 CD can be ordered online.
