Updates

XP Home - Automatic Update installed - works O.K.

When I use Windows Update which scans my computer it
displays a list of available updates. When I click onto
them I get the same screen back asking me to re-scan my
computer, This 'cycles' and I can't get a list of
available updates.

Help please.
