It would be wiser to wait a monoth or two and wait for
windows xp service pack 2 to come out. after u install it
the list will be compacted into one. dont just try to
delete them. there could be problems with updates that
would need it to be uninstalled.

A "month or two"? Its current estimate is third quarter 2004.

And to the OP, deleting these from Add/Remove programs will
delete the updates. Not wise to do, unless you've ascertained
that a particular update is giving you a problem.
