Updates won't install

I have configured Windows XP (Home) to automatically install updates.

I have an Excel Security Update, an Outlook Junk mail update and a security
update for Outlook 2003.

The updates won't install even though I have service pack 2 for Office 2003.
What should I do? It is very annoying when Windows attempts to install them
every time it is shutting down only to have the installation fail.
 
You should post this message to the Windows Update newsgroup. The experts there will have up to date information on current issues with this part of Windows.
