updated to outlook 2003 menu toolbar missing

I updated from office 2000 to office 2003. Now, I can't bet the menu tool bar
to appear in Outlook. It does however appear when logged into the other user
on this system which is win XP Pro. When looking at the custom tool bar
options, the menu tool bar option is checked, but it only beeps when I try to
uncheck it. Would a reinstall (i.e., a repair) of Office correct this?

I searched the hard drive but could not find the outcdm.dat file. In fact I
looked on two other computers as well, all with outlook 2003. The only .dat
files I found that started with "out" were outform.dat and outlfltr.dat

It should be there. Look in C:\Documents and Settings\<profile
name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Thanks, that did the trick! The file was there, I am not too impressed with
windows file search feature.
