Update

I cannot even get Windows Update to scan my computer. The
autimatic update appears to be working but I sometimes
refuse an update and I need to check what I have and
haven't updated. As the site doesn't scan my PC I can't
get it to bring up my installation history.
Has anyone any ideas?

do you have a firewall running? if so shut it down and
try again.
