Update won't install

I have troubles with downloading update to Restarting
windows xp. It states that the version of windows
installed does not match the one I am tring to install.
But the article applies to window xp home edition. And
windows xp rtm update is the one stated to go to. What
is the problem? I have followed all the instructions.
