Update Rollup Patches (IE6 and XP)

I've never quite figured out if you should apply
the "rollup" patches (KB824145 for IE) and (KB826939 for
XP) even if you've already installed all the previous
patches.

And.....if you do, would there be a problem.

KB824145/MS03-048 is not a rollup package, it is a cumulative update containing
all previous IE updates + that it fixes five newly-discovered vulnerabilities
that is not covered by any other update. You should install it...

and (KB826939 for

If you have installed all previous patches, you do not need to install
KB826939. Here is a list of what updates it includes:
