Update Rollup 1 for Windows XP Causes Problems?

a friend of mine can't install this, as it causes their pc to keep reseting
every time it arrives at the desktop, and because it contains a few
installs, we don't know which one is causing it...

any ideas on this matter?

Does your friend have SP1 installed? If not, this rollup is not for him/her.
 
Yes he does, why does it cause problems then?
