Update on System Explorer problem.

Shane

I done a complete uninstall, restart and then new
download of MSAP. I am still unable to access or make
changes to the "System Explorers". I click "Advanced
Tools" then "System Explorers". That pulls up "About
System Explorer" with the only option being "Learn more
about System Explorers...". I can find nothing which
let's me customize my "System Explorers". I have "Windows
XP" and even completed the Windows "validation" as part
of the new installation. HELP ME, PLEASE!!!
Thank you,
Shane

Hi,

This is what Steve Dodson [MSFT] suggests:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware"

Eventually if it doesn't work try the installation of a Service Pack for the
Visual Basic 6 runtime: This link is for SP6, but SP5 also appears to be
effective.
