Update KB826939

When I install update kb826939 from the microsoft website
my computer begins to have problems. It freezes without
warning when I am using a variety of different
applications or I just have the computer at the desktop.
Why would this be? Have any of you come across something
like this.

I know this update is the problem because if I uninstall
it my computer works well again.

I have exactly same problem, but i don't have KB826939
update. I had heard something about buggy updates.

besides uninstalling the update??
