Hi

After I downloaded the worm virus update from microsoft
website, I run the program. But, it showed an error
message like below :

Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. Make sure the cryptographic service is
running on this computer

Anyone know what this means and how to fix this ?

Also I have problem accessing windows update website.
After the site is loaded and I was prompt to download
windows update software, it said that only administrator
can download windows update even though my setting is
computer administrator. Anyone know how to fix this
problem ?

It is a misleading message. Rename the folder
windows\system32\catroot2 and reboot. That will generate a new, clean
folder, and you can then delete the renamed one.

Then get - only - Q817287 and install it, which should now be OK. It
is the cure for the problem: you should then be able to carry on with
other updates, and the problem will not recur
