Update IE 6 from version 6.0.2900.2100.xpsp_sp2 to 6.0.2900.2180.x

I have a IE which version is 6.0.2900.2100.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158. When I
use it to do copy and paste on explorer view of SharePoint 2003. I got an
error message, "cannot copy file: cannot read from the source or disk". While
I used the same ID and tried to do it from another PC which have IE version
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.061219-0316, it worked.
I searched Microsoft site and couldn't find any IE download to update build
number from 2100 to 2180. I also didn't find the old version number in
Knowledge base 164539.
Please help me expert(s) here. Thank you very much.
 
Is this machine fully patched at Windows Update? Can you in fact reach and
use Windows Update?

Where did you get your copy of Windows XP?
