Update History Doesn't Inclued Uninstalls?

Hi,

I uninstalled Windows XP Hotfix - KB810217 to do some testing of a problem
I had immediately after installing it two days ago. It disappeared from
the Add/Remove panel, but when I used IE to go to the Windows Update site
and check on the history of my updates, KB810217 was still listed.

Should it have be 'delisted'?

It reinstalled it just fine, and reappeared in the Add/Remove panel.

I'm running XP Pro.

Do you really believe that M/S can tell when you
uninstalled a program?
All that history list tells you is that you installed
that hotfix on such and such a date which you did.
