Update failed!

When I update windows defender I get this message in a ballon after the
update completes. Update failed. 0x000000000 Windows Defender was unable to
finish the update. The device does not recognize the command. I'm not sure
of the numbers as the ballon collapses before I can write them down. The
update is successful however because it changes where it says definition
version. I always get this ballon with the failed message. How can I fix
this

I wouldn't worry about this--how are you going about updating? My
impression about this error is that it results from simultaneous update
activity--i.e. AutoUpdate is probably applying the update at the same time
as you are--or something similar.
