When trying to update from service patch 2 to SP 3 or 4
I'm consistantly getting the error message "update.exe has
generated errors and will be closed by Windows".
Tried all the usual suspects; rebooted, logged on as the
administrator etc.
Has anyone run into this? Or have any ideas how I can fix
this? I've gotten 0 hits on my searches on both
support.microsoft.com and google.
