Update downloads

I am trying to download the updates to Windows XP. The
installation stops and I get the error message, "Setup
could not verify the integrity of file Update.inf. Make
sure the Cryptographic Service is running on the
computer." The Cryptographic Service is running --- I
have turned it off and on again trying to correct the
problem. Anyone know how to fix this?
