Update DBF (Re Post)

Hi All,

I have a multiuser Foxpro DBF file in a network dirctory.

While i am trying to update this file from XL (using code)

the file is not being updated..

i think when the file is been in use by another user.

(since my code worked well when i tested it in my local
drive)

how can i have an error message to know me that the file
is being used by another user (with user name if
possible) or get the file updated even when it is being
used..
