Copy files to dbf files

Hello,

Does anyone know how can I use macro to copy a particular worksheet into
..dbf file? In this worksheet, there are headings in the first row and
subsequent rows contain the data. May I know the code needed in the macro to
do this?

How about the other way round? Importing data from .dbf files into a
particular worksheet and the heading in the .dbf file will be in the first
row.

This will come in handy if I have a lot of dataset (.dbf) to deal with.

Cheers,
Alex

Can't you just "Save As" to a .dbf file?
If so start a macro record and create the macro yourself.

Hi scooper, thank you for repling to my query. However if it is as simple as
recording the macro and create it myself, I would not have to post the
question. Probably I was not clear in my first posting.

When an excel file is saved to .dbf file, the structure of the dbf file
needs correction. For eg, I may have to change the format for a particular
field to numeric and with 3 decimal places.

What I need is an excel macro that can copy excel worksheet into .dbf file
and at the same time change the structure of the .dbf file.

Hope there is some expert out there who can help.

Cheers
