Somehow a variant of the coolcrap got into my registry. (Teens? Downloads?)
The Shredder could not fix it, but did find it. I had to manually remove it
by going into the registry. I have only been using the Shredder for about 3
weeks. I will update today.

I found it at the location:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\internetsetting
s\zonemaps\domain\coowwwsearch.com\]

I found a lot of crap at that location that I removed.

Thanx to a program called Malware scanner.

It depends on what value those keys had. You may have actually removed
some protection and made yourself MORE vulnerable.

Before doing anything to that part of the registry, read the following at MS
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q182569/. I hope you made a backup before
making any deletions.

Thanx for that link. I use mwsnap and save as jpg file in order to go back
and make things as they were, at least in this case. I got it right and all
is ok now.
