Beware. This is being discussed on the GRC forums, and there is
undeniable evidence of rampant false positives, unreliable or outright
wrong "fixes", and trashing of host files. Merjin must be beside
himself.

I noticed that this version will now, apparently, shut down any browser
open and running, although it only mentions that it will close IE.

Slightly annoying, if this isn't the behaviour you're expecting.

Well, it does warn you that it will do that ...... and you can always
exit CWShredder if you don't want your browser shut down.

Maybe, but the original versions had false positives depending on the hosts
file you used, that as far as i can tell hasnt changed.,

I've been top posting in this group (oh the humiliation). In other
groups, I've been flamed for bottom posting, which seems more natural.

I'm gonna have to keep a spreadsheet for when to do which.
