Windows wants to install KB2570791. It's some kind of Daylight
Savings adjustment for some countries. I do all my computing in
No.America. Do I need this update? Has America changed its DST
procedure while I was asleep? Thanks.

US DST rules have not changed so you probably do not *need* this
update unless you do business with affected countries (so calendars,
appointments, etc. can be properly adjusted). OTOH, why wouldn't you
install them?

Like Zaphod said, you probably won't need it. I personally am very selective
about what 'updates' I allow, and always allow time-zone updates. Never had
a problem with them as they just change TZ information which is stored in
the registry.
