Update 819696

Most every morning I am asked to install 819696.
Everything seems to behave okay.
Is this normal? If not, how do I proceed?
Please email reply : I don't know when I'll find this
place again.
 
That update will fix a DirectX flaw that may allow a hacker to infiltrate
your system. The message you are getting is most likely from the Windows XP
Automatic Updates service. You can disable this service by clicking on
'Start>Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>System' then disable the
first checkbox on the Automatic Updates tab that says 'Keep my computer up
to date...'
