Is there a way to tell how long a Win2K server has been up without using a
3rd party app? I looked in Computer Management, etc and didn't see
anything.

I've also used System Idle in Task Manager but that's not very accurate....

You can use Uptime from Microsoft.

Hi Dave,

What if the pagefile.sys has been rebuilt? Is there another way short of third
party software?
Just wondered?

Thank you,
don

How are you rebuilding? As Jon mentioned you can also use the resource kit
tool.

Rebuild by deleting pagefile.sys and rebuild in the registry by giving
NTAUTHORITY\system full control of the %RootDrive% (C:\), where it was
originally nest.

I haven't tried in some time, but I was never able to delete the file while
the operating system was running.
