Up-dates

When I log on the MS up-date web site there are several recommended up-dates
available for my XP home edition. Some of these up-dates I prefer not to
install. How can I install individual up-dates without installing the
complete list.

Don't CHECK the ones you DON'T want to install.
(Uncheck them?)

are no provisions for checking desired up-dates

I choose Custom - each update has a tick box - I put a tick in the each one
I want after reading the information and download one at a time. Reboot as
requested. Then do the next one. Its a matter of choice.

Go to that page and choose "Custom." Choose the updates you want to install
and uncheck the others.
