unwelcome hidden favorite

An unwanted commercial website seems to have hidden itself
into my favorites. it is hidden and only appears when I
put its initial letter into my address bar. It resists
being deleted from my network places and clearing my
history has no effect.Norton has not detected it.

Why do you say it is in favorites if it is in your address bar?
Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
